By booking a place in the Motherless Daughters Circle, you agree to the following terms:

Payment Terms

• Places are secured upon payment of your chosen option (full payment or payment plan)

• Payment plans must be set up at time of booking and will be processed automatically on agreed dates

• All payments must be completed before the circle begins on 5th March 2026

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Full refunds are available for cancellations made before 14th February 2026

• After 14th February 2026, payments are non-refundable but can be:

  • Transferred to another person (if you can find someone to take your place)

  • Held as credit toward future circles or 1:1 sessions with me (valid for 6 months)

• No-shows: Payment is non-refundable but credit options can be discussed

• If minimum numbers aren't reached and the circle is cancelled, you will receive a full refund

Attendance & Commitment

• This circle runs for 6 consecutive Thursdays: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th March and 2nd, 9th April 2026

• Sessions are 7:00-8:30pm via Zoom

• Please ensure you can commit to all dates before booking, as consistency supports the group's cohesion and your healing process

• If you miss a session, there are no make-up sessions or refunds for individual missed dates

• Sessions will not be recorded to protect the confidentiality and safety of all participants

Confidentiality & Safe Space

• What is shared in the circle stays in the circle - all participants are expected to maintain strict confidentiality

• This is a safe, held space for grief - any form of discrimination, harassment, or harmful behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the group without refund

Scope of Support

• The Motherless Daughters Circle is a grief support group, not therapy or crisis intervention

• If you are in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts, please contact your GP, call 999, or reach out to Samaritans (116 123)

• While I am a qualified BACP-registered counsellor, this circle does not constitute a formal therapeutic relationship

• Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing and self-care between sessions

Suitability & Withdrawal

• I reserve the right to assess whether this circle is suitable for you during our pre-circle introductory call

• In the unlikely event that the circle isn't the right fit for your needs at this time, I'll discuss alternative support options with you and provide a full refund

• I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the circle if necessary (illness, emergency, insufficient numbers). You would receive a full refund or opportunity to join a future circle

Technical Requirements

• You'll need a stable internet connection, device with camera/microphone, and a private space where you can speak freely

• Zoom link and joining instructions will be sent before the first session

• Please test your technology in advance

Communication

• You'll receive reflection prompts via email between sessions to support your ongoing process

• I aim to respond within 2-3 working days

Your Wellbeing

• Please ensure you have adequate support in place outside of the circle (therapist, GP, trusted friends/family)

• If at any point you feel the circle is bringing up overwhelming emotions you can't manage, please reach out to me or your support network
