Within this 6-week circle, we will explore the unique experience of mother loss together. Creating a supportive and nurturing space for your grief to be held and witnessed, without needing to explain or feel as though it needs to be 'fixed'. When we come together with others who know what it's like to feel such deep and disorienting loss, we can find a sense of anchoring and comfort that can often be difficult to find elsewhere. Each session will include a grounding practice (such as breathwork or guided meditation), an element of ritual, reflection, and sharing circle. We will explore different themes together each week, which might include: how to take care of and 'mother' ourselves, ways to stay connected with our mothers through grief tending rituals, and navigating the ripple effects that mother loss brings to our lives. In-between sessions you will also be supported with reflective prompts shared by email. Whilst I am a BACP-registered Therapeutic Counsellor, this group will be held as a grief tending circle, not group therapy. However, my therapeutic background means I am able to hold space in a way that feels safe and attuned to the needs of the group - especially when navigating the tender emotions that can often come with grief. And of course, I also bring my own lived experience of losing my mum at 24. Whether you lost your mother or a mothering figure, whether this loss was through death, ill health, or estrangement - this circle offers a space for all women grieving the loss of this deeply important relationship. Circle Details Dates: Wednesdays 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th November and 2nd, 9th December 2026 Time: 7:00-8:30pm (GMT) Location: Online via Zoom Group Size: Maximum 8 participants What's included: ❂ Six weekly online circles where we'll gather to tend to our grief together ❂ A 30-minute individual introductory call with me before the circle begins - a chance for us to meet, for you to ask any questions, and to explore what can help you feel safe and supported before we begin ❂ Reflection prompts between sessions via email to support your ongoing process I never want cost to be a barrier to receiving support. I offer one reduced-rate place (£110) each circle, for someone who would really benefit but for whom the full investment feels out of reach.
