Join me for a grief tending circle in the magical and sacred lands of Avebury. In a world that often asks us to carry grief quietly or alone, this circle offers a warm and compassionate space to honour and hold our grief together. What to expect You will be gently welcomed with breathwork and meditation, followed by group introductions and a short introduction to grief tending. As we gather close to the autumn equinox, we'll explore how this seasonal threshold can guide us in our grief. A moment of balance, when light and dark stand equal, before the year turns towards the darker months. The equinox is also a time of harvest, of gathering in all that has grown and taking stock before the nights draw in. We'll make space to consider what this year has asked us to carry, what has been ripening beneath the surface, and what may need tending as we turn inwards. Finding beauty in what we have gathered, and how honouring our grief now can help us move into the coming season with more care for ourselves. There will be a sharing circle where you're invited to express your grief however feels right - a story, a memory, something you're currently feeling, or simply a moment to be truly witnessed. Sharing is always optional. Your tears, your silence, your emotions will all be held with care. We'll also include simple ritual and reflective practices to help us connect with our grief beyond words, and close with a gentle grounding practice. There will be an optional chance to take our offerings out into the stone circle for a nature-based ritual. The space is held with beauty and care, including a shared altar you can add to, poetry, music, warm herbal teas and a small sweet offering to comfort. All grief is welcome here - not only for the loss of loved ones, but the grief that can come with change, transition and endings, as well as our collective grief for the sorrows of the world. Whether you're familiar with grief tending or new to it, you'll be supported and welcomed just as you are. I want this circle to be as accessible as possible, so I'm also offering two concessionary places at £25. Please feel free to book one if the standard rate isn't manageable right now - there's no need to explain, and no questions asked.
